The football roster said that the wide receiver was taking Kinesiology classes.

News On December 1, 2022, Channel 6 revealed the news of the death of a student, an MSU sophomore wide receiver on the football team after the MSU Texas athletic department verified it.

Jeremy Moore and Christi Tolbert, Jayden’s parents, were there when he was born in Waxahachie, Texas.

According to an email issued to teachers, staff, and students following Jayden’s passing in the Bridwell Activities Center, the Spirit Seminar Room is available for community members who require a place to assemble tonight until 8 pm and tomorrow from 9 am to 5 pm.

Staff and counselors from MSU will be there.

In the email, MSU expressed its condolences to Jayden’s family, his teammates, and all the students, instructors, and staff who knew him and were impacted by his life.

On December 1, 2022, in the afternoon, the football squad met with the Midwestern State University counselors, who then certified his passing.

The wide receiver played in seven games as a backup wideout and concluded the year with seven catches for 184 yards and a score. His career average for a grab is 26.3 yards.

In a 52-10 victory over Western New Mexico on November 6, the MSU freshman made his first career grab and ended with three receptions for 122 yards, including an 85-yard touchdown.

Jayden had four receptions for 62 yards, the fourth-longest in school history, including a 32-yard catch against West Texas A&M and an 85-yard catch against Western New Mexico.

How Was The Second-Year Wide Receiver Killed?

Jayden’s death’s cause is unknown, but according to Waxahachie Police, authorities were called to the 400 block of Alamosa Drive at about 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday to check on someone.

Police found one person with a single gunshot wound to the chest seated inside a vehicle.

After Jayden’s passing was reported in the media, his body was brought to the Dallas Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

Moore’s death was related to this event, according to Waxahachie PD, who declined to provide Moore’s name in a news statement.

Anyone with knowledge of the circumstances surrounding Jayden’s death is urged to contact Detective D. Snyder as they are presently conducting an investigation.

According to Waxahachie Police, a community 30 miles south of Dallas, an MSU Texas student-athlete was shot and died on Wednesday night.

After Jayden died, police took the wide receiver to Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie’s campus after getting him out of the automobile and starting life-saving procedures.

According to police, the man’s injuries caused his death.

According to a statement from the MSU sports department and MSU Texas administration, The Spirit Seminar Room in the Bridwell Activities Center will be open on December 3, 2022, from 9 am to 5 pm for community members who require a place to gather.
